Coronation Street could be heading towards another explosive Battersby family confrontation after Toyah Battersby began to suspect that her sister Leanne is secretly plotting to take control of the Bistro.

Leanne Targets the Bistro in Her Revenge Plan
Leanne’s resentment towards Toyah and Nick has become increasingly difficult to ignore. So when her new boyfriend, Idris Nazir, highlighted an opportunity to purchase the Bistro at a reduced price, she was quick to take an interest.
The restaurant has been struggling financially, with a recent food poisoning incident adding to its difficulties. Seeing an opportunity to exploit the situation, Leanne encouraged Nick to cut his losses and consider selling the business.
However, her apparent concern about the Bistro’s future soon attracted suspicion.
In Thursday’s episode, aired on October 15, Toyah confronted Leanne after becoming convinced that her sister was deliberately undermining Nick’s business.
Toyah Accuses Leanne of Sabotaging Nick
Toyah challenged Leanne directly, accusing her of refusing to help Nick find a new supplier following the restaurant’s meat-related problems. She also claimed that Leanne had been encouraging Nick to believe his business was failing.
“I know what you’re doing,” Toyah declared, insisting that she had worked out what Leanne and Idris were planning.
Leanne denied any wrongdoing and told her sister there was nothing to uncover. But Toyah refused to back down.
Previously, Toyah had suspected that Leanne was attempting to lure customers away from the Bistro and towards Speed Daal. Now, however, she believes the real objective is much more calculated.
“You want him to think it’s worth less than it is, so he’ll flog it to you cheap,” Toyah accused.
Her theory suggests that Leanne is deliberately making the Bistro appear less valuable so she can eventually buy it for far less than its true worth.
Leanne Turns the Confrontation Personal
The heated exchange was interrupted by Eva Price, Leanne’s half-sister, who attempted to calm the situation before it escalated further.
Rather than addressing Toyah’s accusations, Leanne turned the argument towards her sister’s betrayal with Nick. She insisted that Toyah had no right to question her actions after what had happened between them.
Toyah, however, was unconvinced. She questioned whether Leanne’s actions were really about financial gain or whether the scheme was a delayed attempt to punish her and Nick.
Leanne brushed off the accusation, leaving Toyah without a confession but apparently even more convinced that something was wrong.
Afterwards, Toyah confided in Eva that she believed Leanne was trying to ruin the Bistro.
Eva, meanwhile, defended the restaurant, insisting that Leanne genuinely loved the place.
Will Toyah Stop Leanne From Taking the Bistro?
Toyah’s suspicions could threaten to derail Leanne’s plans before she gets the chance to make her move. If Toyah is right, the Bistro may be more than just a business opportunity — it could be the centrepiece of Leanne’s revenge against the people who hurt her.
But will being confronted make Leanne reconsider her strategy, or will it only encourage her to push ahead with even greater determination?
With tensions between the sisters still running high, another Battersby showdown could be just around the corner.
