Riley Green Has Surprising Encounter With Fan Of “The Voice”

The “Worst Way” singer is one of two new coaches featured on Season 30 of The Voice . The other newcomer is Queen Latifah, with returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine rounding out the panel. Green had 12 contestants on his team after the blind auditions, and almost every one was a country artist. His team has shrunk a bit now that the battles are underway, but it has retained some solid, skilled performers. It’s still early in the season, but Green and his team already have some devoted fans. That’s something he learned firsthand after meeting one Voice viewer. Green told Country Heat Weekly hosts Kelly Sutton and Amber Anderson that he was in the elevator at his building when he walked past a woman he didn’t know. But she recognized him and called out, “ Hey, Riley .” As Green was trying to recall if he knew this woman, she said, “ I just want you to know we’re really pulling for you on ‘The Voice.’ “ This encounter was extra surprising to Green, because Season 30 hadn’t started yet. So this woman was rooting for him and his team without seeing a single performance. Green was touched by this, saying: “That was the first time I heard it put like that, like pulling for me, like it’s a competition, you know? Who Is On Riley Green’s Team On The Voice ?
As mentioned previously, Riley Green had 12 contestants on his team at the end of the blind auditions. Every artist on Team Riley was a country singer, giving Green an advantage with country-loving viewers once the competition allows fan voting.
